Occult Gakuen episode 05

Sometimes I feel like I should be posting something else than anime reviews, not that I don't like doing them but it starts to get a little tiring isn't it?
Next season I won't pick that many shows.

Anyway, this week's Occult Gakuen episode was all about Kozue, I love Kozue, she's one of my favorite character, her crazy occult fanatisme obviously leads to various weird faces from Maya and the others, did I mentionned that the thing I like the most in this show are Maya's faces?


In any case Kozue is pursuing an occult experience, she said she's sad to be the only one to not have experienced something occult in the school hence her desperation to live one, usually she ends up injured and create faces like this from her friends.

(They've seen a mummy ^^)

Even in normal classes, Kozue pursues the occult.


Do not worry, these were only mathematics, next one is sports. Please note that Maya is still wearing her blak thighs even in sports class and that the thing Kozue is holding is in fact a snake which ate some cooking tool.


During that time Abe talks with his waitress who wants to seel bread on the school grounds, thus he tries to convince Maya but Maya elegantly tell him to fuck off and in love Dango girl is getting mad (still don't understand how you can manage to fall in love with Abe though ^^)


Emergency! Kozue disappeared! Quickly found hidden in a the underground, trying to become a god (hence weird faces again <3)


In a class I didn't catch the name of the teacher wants to create an artificial near death experience, Kozue obviously volunteers.


And this is what she sees.


She comes back safely, more or less, since the Kozue who comes back looks like Kozue but is not Kozue at all ...

Occult Gakuen episode 04

Let me start by telling you at which point we stopped last week, Maya was attacked by a mysterious monster and Abe-sensei was quietly returning hom from his date.

However Maya didn't return to school, nor did Kozue, so dango haired girl calls Abe-sensei and give him the mission to find them all, ths trying to convey her love for him.


So Abe-sense complies even if he doesn't want to, and find oooh so by chance his "cute" little waitress, she asks him if he wants to come with her to look for them in the car, reluctantly he comes.


And it was indeed a bad idea.


Except that after all she manages to see something on the side of the road while driving at an insane speed (I find that to be quite suspicious, it's like she knew there was something there ^^)


Abe and her walk through, but they got separated, such a shame and Abe comes accross Maya and her silly faces (did I mentionned she tried to kill him?)


While during this time some students and workers of the school were worried and looked for their disappeared principal.

Did I mentionned these two are voiced by Koyasu Takehito (the right guy) and Hiroki Takahashi (the Graham like guy)? It's even funnier

Maya and Abe finally discover the center of the world!


And Abe told her the truth about his fate as a time traveller, basically he was homeless, jobless and their last hope was just killed.


The truth about the Tengu is revealed! It wasn't a Tengu but a Mothman (told you it wouldn't be a Tengu ^^)


And JK defeats him with his magic piano, because music is his life.


During all this time Abe was running away, they still manage to save everyone (including the waitress who comes back unharmed after the fight, suspicious I tell you)

Next anime of the day is Occult Gakuen, which is, as the name suggests, set in an Academy which everyone calls Occult Gakuen, because its students and former principal are interested by the Occult and strange things are happening around there.
Former principal being dead her daughter Maya takes his place, however she claims to hate the occult and something is threatenning the Earth, in a few years aliens would have invaded and mankind would have become an endangered specie...

However, Abe-sensei, a time traveler is here to save the World! Or not, since that episode was mostly about his date with a cute girl working at a nearby restaurant.

Everything is peaceful during the night.


However the mandatory monster appears and eat people (well ok we don't know, we only know they disappeared ^^)


Rumors are saying that at some points a Tengu was spotted near the school.

AHAHAH LOL a Tengu, NO WAAAY


Sorry Maya but Kozue doesn't agree with you, let's go fetch the Tengu, ok?

After this the episode is all about Abe-sensei and his oooh-so-wonderful love life, which I found to be really boring, except for one moment ...

No they're totally not doing what you think they are, not at all.

And then the episode finishes on Maya being attacked by said Monster, see you next week for a possible ending of that Tengu chase (which will end up not being a Tengu at all, I can predict it)
